STAFF GO ON STRIKE
,V;' (Py Telegraph—Per Press Association) •| CHRISTCHURCH. June 20. Declaring their* garage ‘ ‘black,’’ the men driving the Gold .Band Taxis, have £§ decided to go on strike. They demand 1$ that the proprietor, Mr C. S. Trillo, >r '~ should allow them a lull one-third of .the takings, and not ’deduct amounts pay fines and -allowances for the staff. This Mr Trillo refuses.
