SENTENCES PASSED. (By Telejraph —Per Brens Association/ WELLINGTON, June 19. At the' Supreme Court. Mr Justice McGregor to-da.v imposed*sentences as follows On each charge of indecently, assaulting girls of the ages ol twelve and thirteen years William King, aged 07, was sentenced to twelve months' reformative detention, the sentences to he concurrent. Reginald Charles Gordon aged 39. on six charges of breaking and entering by day and theft, was given eighteen months’ imprisonment, the sentences being concurrent. Leonard Edward Swenson, aged 21. for committing mischief by wilfully destroying a motor-ear with intent to defraud was sentenced to twelve months’ reformative detention. Douglas Cameron, aged 34, for an indecent assault on a male, two years ago was convicted and’ordered to come up for sentence within two years if called upon, subject to payment of the costs of tlie prosecution. For breaking and entering and tboft. .Tobn Albert T awlor, aged' 22, was given six months imprisonment.
