The’Canadian Budget passed the House of Commons by a majority of thirty votes, the voting being 102 for, and 72 against. A United-Farmer Party sub-ameud nient, advocating the suspension of the redemption oi the Dominion’s notes in gold, was defeated by ICS votes to 15. A Liberal amendment, which called for a policy to overcome the economic depression, was also' defeated by 109 to 75.
