PRINCESS’ PLEA
WATCHING MILITARY TOURNEY. LONDON. June 11. “Oh, please let me stay to the end,” was Princess Elizabeth’s excited appeal to her parents, when they rose to leave the Royal Box at the military tournament at Olympia. A troupe of army signallers, disguised as clowns, was performing. The Duke and Duchess of York sat down, and the Princess clapped her hands gleeiuliy as they watched the show to the very end.
