As the outcome of persistent complaints of fishermen: losing nets near Porto Recanati, a diver discovered intact a submarine, with the remains of a long dead crew inside, in ninety feet of water. There was no outward sign of damage. Inquries in Germany and Austria reveal that no submarine was lost there and Italy is unaware of any. Divers are engaged in the hope of solving the gruesome mystery.
