BOXING CLUB

Meeting held on Thursday evening, present: F. McGregor (Chair), R. Bell, ■D. Breeze, M. McGavin, 0. Hahn, R. Furness, J. Johnson. J. Atkinson, F. Ballinger. Apology tor J. Stafford. The minutes were read and confirmed. D. Breeze reported that the platform was almost completed in the baths. Jt was decided to get-seating-accom-modation for inside the Bath by borrowing from the Town Hall. Owing to 'N, Harris injuring a foot his : place in the special bout v. G. Gilling-... ham will be filled by R. Wright. It was decided to cater more for the ladies by reducing their charge of admission to one shilling. The bouts *were then drawn with the exception of the Sandfly and Mosquito classes owing to competitors not sending, exact weights in. The following is the draw for. Saturday's bouts:— Baby Weight 4.7 limit: Bob Henderson, * v. G. Howat. Bye ; W. Walsh. Sandfly and Mosquito: x.eft for later. Paper Weight, 6.11 limit Wm. Boy/ti v. Geo. Johnson. Bye; P. Breeze. ■Fly Weight, 7,10 limit; R. Vincent v, Mons Morgan. Bye; W. Toohay. Feather Weight 9 stone : Geo. Freitas v. Jim Bryce. Byes; T. Dudley, AMcPhee, W. Ritchie. Light Weight 10 stone: Jack ’ McTaggard v. A. Shuttleworth 9.7. Byes: J. Hobson, B. Shuttleworth 9.10, R. Steele. (R. 'Wright to replace <N. Harris v. G. Gillingham, owing to an injury toHarris’s foot. .
