TRIBUTE MINERS

COAL AT WESTPORT. Hy feleurapk—Per Frets Association) ' WESTPORT, June 18. The Railway Department has been transporting coa'l from ‘ the tribute mines both at Charming Creek and the Cascade to Westport. The coal is being taken to the crane-loading wharf, where it is ready to be placed aboard the steamers Komata and Kntoa. These vessels are now in port.. They are not, however, being loaded with the coal in question so far. The Watersiders’ Union has advised the Railway Department that its members do not intend to handle the tribute coal, as it has been declared black.
