selection of candidates. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, June 17. Air Frederick W. Freeman has been selected by the Reform Party to contest the Lyttelton seat, against Mr J. McCombs. Mr Freeman is a civil engineer by profession. In addition to private practice he is engineer for several local bodies in the neighbourhood of Christchurch, and has been a member of the Wainiakariri River Trust, and a President- of the Canterbury Automobile Association, and js on the executive of the South Island Motor Union ) the executive of the Canterbury Progress League, .> and on the Council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
