There was a mixed yarding of store sheep. Prices had a weakening tendency. There, were no attractive consignments. The fat comprised a fair yarding. The market was buoyant, hut with some irregular sales. Show' lnmb« sold at 28s 4d, best prime 21s to 235. prime 19s to 20s 6d, medium 16s 9d to ]Ba 6d, light 1.3 s 6d to 1.6 s fid, in ferior from 10s 6d. There was a. large yarding of mutton, the quality not being, up to the. usual standard. Recent values were fairly mainatined. Best ewes sold up tp 20s, prime 17s to 19s, medium 15s to Jfis fid, light from 11s. best ewes to 155,. prime 13s to 14s, medium IQs to 12s, light from 6s. / Fat pigs were represented hv poor consignments, no first-class stuff being yarded. Values were easier. Tliefe was but littl.e competition. Porkers sold, from 32s to 37s Gel, heavier 38s fid to 44s fid, choppers £3 to £4 17s fid, Eacopers £2 6s'6d to £2 12s, heavier £2 15s, to. £2 19s 6d.. Store pigs were again easy. Veil levs were easier owing to a large entry.
