QUARANTINE
CHANGE IN N.Z. SYSTEM - PROPOSE!!.

WELLINGTON, June 16
At last meeting of the Board <> Health, it again diseased the question of the quarantine s.vsti m in New Zealand. and. after consideration, a report was presented by Dr. \Y; tt, Di-rector-General of Health, that tlu? Board had unanimously passed the following resolution.
“The Board of Health is of the opinion that the adoption o the English system of quarantine in New Zealand would give at least as much protection as that at present in force, while it would enable a considerable saving to he effected in the administrative costs, and, would involve less interference with shipping and with the convenience of the travelling public.
