A call to prayer issued by Churches o-l the World in connection with the Disarmament Conference of 1932 Is signed by the Archibishop of Canterbury, and by leaders of the Welsh, Scottish and Irish Anglican Churches and also by Baptists, Methodists, Five Churches, and other non-conform-ist bodies. ft states: “Our hopes f'-r the peace of the world largely depend on the success of this ( onfernce. We therefore appeal to all Christian communions to give themelves to lull pri-v-neto prayer that the delegates may he guided to results which will strengthen the foundations of goodwill and peace among nations.
