£SOOO THEFT
THREE MEN SENTENCED. (Australian Press' Association.) SYDNEY, June 12. The theft of five thousand sterling from the Australian Bank of Commerce on December 14th, 1929, had its sequel at the-: quarter sessions to-day, when Arnold Walker, aged 42, was senj(diced to five years’ imprisonment; Wil iam Evans, aged 49, to four years; and Joseph Wall, aged 58, to two years.
•The Judge expressed the opinion •that the bunk staff had displaced negligence.
