A SUCCESSFUL SYSTEM.

AUCKLAND, June 10. At the annual meeting of householders of the Auckland City School a resolution'was passed suggesting that, ' after pupils had reached the age of 'twelve, they should be separated according to sex, girls to be taught by ; women and boy by men. This was >sent on to the Education Department by the Auckland Education Board, and •rat. a meeting of the board to-day the Department’s reply was read. The Department promised, to give the request • its fullest consideration.
