The bride was attended by her sisters Eileen and Kathleen. The former was attired in a buttercup georgette frock with circular frills, and a hat and shoes to tone. Miss Kathleen Sampson wore a blue-bell georgette frock with felt hat and shoes to match. The brklgegroom was attendby Mr R. S. Spencer as best man, and Mr Frank Bell as groomsman. A successful blast was carried out at Cobden Quarry yesterday morning. Bight thirteen-foot holes were prepared under a solid facing, and five and a hall eases of gelignite were used for the shot. Something like 3000 tons of first class rock were brought down, thereby opening up a good quarry.
