GERMAN DANGER
FINANCIAL CHAOS. [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] LONDON, June 9. , The “Daily Telegraph’s” Berlin correspondent states: German Government circles are satisfied that the German Ministers attained their purpose at the Chequers Court Conference, where they fully expounded Germany’s difficulties to -Messrs MacDonald, Henderson, Graham, Montague and Norman, with the result that the subject lias now become a matter of international discussion. Interest in Berlin centres on the question of whether the President’s emergency decree will operate as it stands, or will come before an early meeting of the Roichssag. It is the opponents of democracy who are demanding the latter course, they hoping that the decree' may somehow be. vetoed and tile Government overthrown. Well-inform-ed people agree that this would lead to a most serious situation, possibly entailing financial chaos.
