Two men charged with being on licensed promises after hours (Railway Hotel) were convicted and ordered to pay costs 10s each, One man similarly charged (Masonic Hotel) was convicted and ordered to pay costs 10s.

Same v. Jas. Houston, riding a motor cycle without a light at night. Fined 5s and costs 10s, counsel 10s Cd.
AIAIXTEXAXCE. On a charge of failure to pay a maintenance order, Hector Turnbull was ordered to pay arrears of £2 os and solicitor’s fee £1 Is, in default < days iu gaol.
A SERIOUS CHARGE. Police v. George Andrews, a charge of indecently asaulting a girl of five years and nine months. Air Elcock appeared for the defendant. The Court was cleared during the hearing of evidence. After hearing evidence the accused pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence.
Hir Worship committed accused to tue Supreme Court sittings at Hokitika for trial. Bail was allowed, accused in £SO and one surety of £SO.
