At IYA this evening during the International programme, Mr Julius Ilogben, L.L.8., will speak on “International Law.” Mr H'Jgbeii >-s lecturer on this suoject at the .\uckland University.

A one-act mystery play entitled “I ho Real Q” will he brouiicUst by 2YA. It i.s to he produced by M 1 Norman Aitken. Also included in this programme will he Reno ami Arta, xylophone experts, and tW instrument on which they play is reputed to lie the largest in Australasia, Air Lilly Hart will also delight listeners in a budget ol' new songs at the piano. The Salon Orchestra, under Mr M. T. Dixon, will supply the incidental music.

At 7.40 p.in. from 4YV. Mr J. Cross ley C'litheroe, Lecturer on Music at the Dunedin Teachers’ Training College, will give a talk on 1 ‘The Origins of Music.” SO Joseph’s Taverley Hoys’ Band, conducted by Mr 1). Whelan, will give a programme at 4VA this evening. \ r o r al numbers will be contributed by The Majors quartet. There will be solo numbers 'by Mbs G. Burt, Miss Freda Rimes :nd Mr L. AI. Caehemaille, Air I). K. Dali, elocutionist, will give a talk on “Charles Dickens, tile Alan.” Silent day , a t OVA.

From 8 to 9 p.m. a very attractive programme in which a party of Maori entertainers from Otaki will take part, is to be broadcast from tli e Exhibition, From 9 p.m. a miscellaneous programme will he broadcast from the Studio.

There will be a lot of good entertainment in 3YA's programme this evening. A novelty turn by MNs Alerlo Aliller and Aliss Maisii* • Ottcy will be featured—items played on two pianos located., in different rooms, the artists being jn communication by means of headphones. An instrumental trio, consisting of Aliss Gladys A invent (violin), AH’ Francis -Date (cello) and Aliss Clutlia Serjeant (piano) will

provide some popular numbers. There "■ill be violin solo by Aliss Vincent ■inil ’cello solos by Mr Bates. Alis 1 ? Addie Campbell (soprano) ✓ will sing Mascagni’s “Av c Maria,” “Three Green Bonnets,” “Solvoig’is Song” and “The Ranks of Alan Water.” All’s F. Nelson Kerr, a popular contralto, will also present a nice range of songs. Tenor solos will In* contributed by Mr Chas R. AVillbimson, and Mr Te Ari Pi tain,a will give a talk on Alaori foods.
