A WOMAN ATTACKED

AUCKLAND, June <3. A woman was attacked on a suburban road by two men, who attempted to 'Snatch her bag. She resisted and screamed. Neighbours then ran to the rescue. The men escaped. It is believed that they mistook the woman for the wife of the theatre lessee, wno about that time is usually going home with the night’s takings. At Devonport a man awoke this morning to find that he had been robbed of £4O, which had been in his trousers’ pocket at the head of his bed not six indues from his face.
