NEW ZEALAND TOUR. (Special to Press Association). (Received this day at S a.m.) LONDON, June 4. New Zeaalnd cricketers continued at Cambridge. The weather was dull and the attendance poor. Lowry was keeping wickets. Surfleet replaces Christopherson at Cambridge. University batsmen scored steadily.

LONDON, June 4. New Zealand cricketers gained a first innings lead of seventy. ' For Cambridge, Kelpwelcli and Surfleet added 126 for the second wicket. Tne former was run out shortly after lunch. Surfleet was making bis first appearance for the University and was batting soundly. He. appeared well-set for a, century when he wa s dismissed by a ball by Matherson which just shifted the off bail. Matheson struck form with a new ball alter the second century and four wickets fell rapidly. Fabrian then made a calm stand and greatly improved Cambridge’s score. The wicket was a batsman’s paradise but New Zealand bowlers kept a steady length. A lathe son bowled accurately at considerable pace and dleserved Letter figures.
