AT LABOUR MEETING. _ f Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) SYDNEY, June-5. Trades Hall, Sydney to-night was the scene of a sensational riot, beginning when a Communist gallery spectator at the Labour "Council's '■ weekly meeting interjected during a debate. The doorkeeper attempted to put the interjector out, when a general stampede occurred, groups of Communists rushing along the passages with sticks and pieces of rubber pipe, shoving and striking at the Council delegates who tried to escape by side doors. Chairs were thrown at one another, glass doors and windows were smashed and tables wrecked. Fists were used and the vilest language wa s heard. Jock Garden, the secretary was chasel up the stairs. A number of men were injured and one hospitalied.
