A message from Indianapolis states that Louie .Schneider, at one ti.*.e an Indiannpolis motor cycle policeman, won a live hundred mile automobile race to-day, taking live lioui s ten minutes, twenty-eight seconds. Fred Frame, of Los Angeles. was second, being two and a-half nines behind. Forty ears started and seventeen finished. Billy Arnold, of Chicago, last year s winner was apparently a sure winner again, when lie was forced bill by a collision ninety-five miles from the finish. Rain postponed the start until noon, anct several times it slowed the races up. The attendance was about one Hundred and fifty thousand. "There were a number of smash-ups and minor injuries, but,none tv;is serious.
