The Dublin sweep subscription totalled £2,7.89,690, of whit 1 1 .sum L 1,100544 is prize money, including nineteen prices each of £30,601, nineteen staotid prize; each of £30,000, nine ee.i second third prizes each of £1.0,000, respectively. The procedure was: A horse’s name was drawn, and then nineteen i-.Xcts were alloteted thereto. Then a second horse followed, and another nineteen t elects were allotted to it, and so on. The draw was completed with 1,700 ticket holders, coming from throughout the world. The “Wanganui Herald” , Syndicate New Zealand, have drawn Lightning Star in the sweep. The Calcutta Sweep draw is at the Turf Club at 9.30 (Calcutta time) tonight, The total of this sweep amounts to nearly £600,000, THE DRAWERS OF HORSES. OVER 123 IN LONDON. LONDON, May 31. The drawers 1 of horses in the Irish Sweep will receive at least £833. No fewer than 123 Londoners have Po-' ciied horses, United State's ticket holders have secured 65 horses, South Africa holders 24, and Canada holders 15. IRISH SWEEP DRAW. WANGANUI, June 1. The “Wanganui Herald” syndicate has drawn “Lightning Star” in the Irish Free State Sweep on the Derby, not in the Calcutta Sweep as some morning papers announced. CALCUTTA SWEEP. LONDON, May 31.
