PRINCE OF WALES'S FLIGHT'S [United Press Association. —By Electrie Telegraph.—Copyright.] RUGBY, May 27 The Prince of Wales fbw from London to Southampton in his own aeroplane this morning, to bid bon voyage to the Empress of Britain ( which left ion her maiden trip to Quebec and Montreal,. Afterwards, the Prince inspected and made a brief flight, in a Short Kent flying boat, which, after being launched at Rochester, flew to Southampton. The Prince took the pilot’s scat at the dual control, with Major Bnickley, and passing over the outgoing liner, clipped in salute. The new flying boat, which is.,a biplane, is one of three built or building for the Imperial Airways, for operation on their Mediterranean route. They are the largest passenger-carrying flying boats vet placed in service on aiiy route'. Each is equipped with four engines, with a total of 2,300 horse power, and has accommodation - for. 16 passengers j and special luggage holds for a ton a half of mall.
