CARGOES ARRIVING. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) ______ id DUNEDIN, A lay 28. The Kaikorai arrived to discharge Newcastle coal cargo,’ consigned to the New Zealand Railways. AUCKLAND, May 28. Local coal traders claim to be unaware of any reason why New Zealanj mines cannot fulfil Government order.. This certainly did not apply to tb - Waikato. Probably it referr* d to the South Island mines. Six Union Company steamers, wr,h a capacity o. over 25,000 tons, have been brought into commission to bring coal from Newcastle. 011 Tuesday, the Kurow arrived at Lyttelton, and the Waihemo at Auckland, .each fully loaded with Newcastle coal. The Kaikorai now at Dunedin with a cargo, is to be followed by the Kaitoke and the Kaimiro, while the Katoa left. Auckland for Newcastle yesterday.
