Tiu' removal of restrictions on tlie importation of Australian and New Zealand butter, were revealed in the Commons, m a. statement by the Minister of Agriculture wlio said that price cutting among Canadian organisations, bad rendered useless the agreement with Mr Moloney's that no butter be sent to Canada at less than thirty-two cents. The price had been driven down so far that Mr Moloney wn.s relieved of. his pledge.
Mr TMnfret, a former Secretary of State alleged the Minister during the election had promised Quebec that butter would-be at 50 cents.
