AVEST COAST RUGBY UNION. The weekly meeting of the West Coast Rugby Union was held last evening at Greymouth. Buller Rugby Union wrote accepting July 4th as a suitable date for the annual West Coast v. Roller match at Westport, and asking confirmation of that date.’ The date was confirmed. The action of the Westland SubUnion in granting the applications of W. Hall and E. Fitzgibbons for reclassification from senior to junior was endorsed. Westland Sub-Union advised that newspaper reports of an incident which was supposed to have occurred at Hokitika and 'in which a Blaketown player arid a Hokitika referee were concerned bad caused' them to ask an explanation from the referee, but he bad refused to make a statement.—lt was decided to notify the Sub-Union that the Union had decided to take no further action in the matter. Tim Westland Sub-Union submitted the names of two referees For interprovincial games, and it was decided to forward them to the Referees’ Association
