AKA HU It A STOCK SALE
At yesterday’s fixture held in the above yards 20 lambs, 15 runners and 51 head of cattle came forward. Owing to floods south two lines of advertised sheep were unable to reach the sale in time to bo offered under the hammer. Competition was slightly more spirited than, usual with the result that a total clearance wa s made before rue sale ended. Prices were much to ruling rates at Addington. W. Jeffries sold as follows:—For a client 10 lambs at 11s 3d and 7 at 11s. For H. Heude 1 heifer at £B. 1 at £0 15s. 3 cow's at £3 Ids. 2 at £4 12s fill, 1 runner at £2 ss. For P. Olsen 1 heifer at .£< is 0.1, 4 cows at £4. 1 steer at £4 12s 6d. For 0. M-eGuigan l heifer at £4 10s, 2 cows' at £3. For R. J. Graham 12 runners aver- - ging £3 7s 6d each. For n. B. Jellie '1 dry cows at £3 10s. For T. Staines 9 extra prime cows at £B. 1 runner at £2 10s, 2 dry cows at £4. 10 steers at £8 10s.
