SEAMAN KILLED

While walking across Adelaide Road at (j.lo p.m., yesterday, John Dcakin, of No. 6.Pugh Street, a seaman, was knocked down by a train car and received injuries from which lie died at the Wellington Hospit: at 8.15 a.in., to-day. «•’- -death resulted ■ from head injuries and concussion. Deakin was identified by one oi his friends, and- the police to-day had not been. able to find out the. address of l/is . relatives. The accident occurred pot. far from the house at which he .wits .living.
