The weather conditions were unpleasant but notwithstanding there was a good attendance of buyers and a very large entry of all kinds of stock. Competition was good ioi sheep and lambs but there was a marked easing in cattle prices. Anything prime brought its value but for old and half fat cows of which the yarding was well supplied there was a lack of bidding. The one outstanding line oi steers for Mr - ; Meharry ,■ passed ,at £9/2/6 not reaching 1 ‘owners idea' ‘ct' value. A pen of iat ewe s for Mr H. A. Boddington made 15/6 and a pen of wethers for ,Mr Moynihan 14/3, quite equal, to .'Addington rates.. )The total yarding- comprised * 276 sheCp and lambs, 4 pigs and 262 cattle.
