BOARDINCHOUSE? (Tin Telegraph —Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 17. A tire destroyed a three-storey wooden house of sixteen rooms at Rostrevor Avenue, Alt. Roskill, on Satur day evening Only the shell of the front portion was left standing, the owner is Airs 11. M Davis and the occupiers of the flats were Mr \. Stone and Mr L. Banks. They were all absent at the time. The Alt. Hoskill Kire Brigade had a hopeless task, the flames shooting from the roof and all sides of the building. Airs. Davis’s house was insured for £ISOO in the South British Office, and the contents and piano for £3OO and £IOO. respectively in the Ocean anc! Accident Office. Mr Stone’s furmt.
