The Boord met at 4.30 p.m. Present: Messrs Ai. Houston (Chaiiman) D. P. Stuart, E. W. Heeiiau, W. E. Richards, J. J. Mdntosii. The secretary notified the elections had resulted in the return of the old ' ~ members, with the exception that Mr ’]; r Warren replaced Dr Teichelmann. Mr Wild took the chair and invited nominations for the. position of Chairman.

From signalman reporting the channel is straight and wide with a depth of 10 to 11 feet,—Received, The action of the Chairman and Secretary in arranging for lease of stacking a'rea to Gimnerson Ltd., was approved. - The Secretary reported that in connection with the Unemployment Act, the expenditure was £437 18s 4d and the receipts had amounted to £344 8s 7d. Accounts amounting to £35 18*' were passed for payment. A motion for authority to borrow up to £3OO w ( as agreed to, A formal motion in connection with extending the time for payment of i rates until Ist July was agreed to. The Board rose at 5.15 p.m.
