A message from H. 'O. Watkins, i' l Greenland, statics: “Ry.m'i'll, Chapman and I have returned from the iec cap with Coiirtauld, who is perfectly fit. We' were greatly surprised when the aeroplane flew over and -dropped food, which was not needed. This and the letters dropped was our first intimation that Captain Ahrenborg had been sent to join in the rescue. We have been unable to understand the fuss that was made over us. as practically everything had gone according to schedule. Coiirtauld and myself decided that it would sometimes be necessary for ono man to remain alone on the ice cap. Neither minded being alone, as wo were agreed that there was no danger.
