The salvage ship Reclaimer, lias been secretly fitted out. and is sailing from Sunderland to search for over a million pounds wor lll of gold aboard the Dutch steamer Turlmntia, torpedoed in the North Sea in 19.1(3. The Turhantia carried gold bullion and a Iso securities valued at millions, intended to bolster up Gei man credit in South America. Her departure and mission was kept so secret that a German submnr ine torpedoed her off the Belgium coast. The gold was hidden in hundreds of cheeses and only one man on the Reclaimer knows the exact position, which he will not disclose until the divers are ready to descend.
