TIM AH 11, May 12. The damage at tlic Sniitlifield fire -is estimated at £20.009. The brigade, by driving a, wedge from the south side and the north side; cut the' fire hi two, making great save. But for this line of action, the tallow department would . undoubtedly havi gone. The insurance on the buildings was £11,150 mid on the plant, £.10,757. The wool and pelts lost were covered l,y a Marine policy, hut the amount is not ascertainable.
