Bria.nd has agreed to stand for the Presidency, following an invitation from a strong delegation, representing the Left Parties in the Senate and Deputies. It is stated that M.. Briand. also receives the Catholic vote. A delegation Inter interviewed M. Doumergue and M. Pnhdeve and appealed to them not to submit a candidate.
