SILVER CURRENCY
QUESTION IN CANADA, 1 United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received 9.5 a .in.) OTTAWA, May 11. The Dominion Government has been in conference,on silver currency quest, ion with- a loading British authority on this matter, who is at present in Ottawa, Mr Bennett informed the House to-day. The Premier is not prepared to say what the attitude of Canada was in regard to the proposed international currency conference. He stated, however, that the Dominion might ho expected to act in an appropriate way, for a large silver producing country.
The British export referred believed to lie Mr J. F. Darling, Director of the Afidland Bank, who had conference with the Premier on Monday.
