The Auckland Education Board today decided to call upon all married j women teachers under its jurisdiction to show cause individually why they should not receive three months notice of termination of their appointment. About 130 teachers are affected. OFFER REFUSED. WELLINGTON, May 7. . The offer of the position of Commonwealth Meteorologist was refused by Doctor E. Kidson last month. It was reported he would he the successor to H. A. Hunt, who was retiring.
