Cotton left England to-dav for Re.vjavik (Iceland) to assist, if necessary, in succouring Augustine Courtauld, who remained alone on tin' Greenland icecap. Colton was accompanied by Lieut. L. K. Barnes, lent b.v the Air Mlnis"s relief pilot, and O. K. Bond, wireless operator, and is taking monoplane equipment for Arctic work. Cotton will attempt to roach- Courtauld, should tlm effort being made b.v Captain Ahrenberg fail. Within the past week, preparations which normally take four months, have been completed to equip this supplementary expedition. Cotton lets done much flying in Labrador,.
