A special meeting of flic New Zealand National Industrial Council, the body .set up h.v the recent Open Labour Conference, convened by the New Zealand Alliance of Labour, is being held at Wellington. Air A. Cook is presiding. About twenty delegates from various parts of New Zealand are present. The main business before the meet ing is the attitude to he adooted in the Arbitration Court next week concerning the application by t*io Employers’ Federation for a general order for the reducing of wages.
