[United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] TEGUCIGALPA (Honduras) May -I A message from Santa Rosa Be Capan, an important Western Honduras mining, commercial and agricultural centre, reports that the entire Federal garrison of 140 men. including the lender, Colonel Garcia, were killed when a much-superior rebel orce seized the town, following on a fierce battle, after the defenders ran out of ammunition. Refugees from Santa Rosa stated that the major engagements in the present hostilities which began on 'April 20th resulted in the deaths of over two hundred soldiers on both sides, as well as many civil officials and civilians, whom the insurgents massacred. The city has fufFered much from looting.
