AGCIDENTS & FATALITIES

ELDERLY MAN. HURT.. AUCKLAND, May 4. An elderly man, who gave Ins name as Frederick Alarbrook, but was not able to state at what address he was living in Auckland, was picked up in Upper Queen Street, suffering Ironi injuries to the head. He was found lying in the road by a motorist. Toe injured man said lie was a resident o Hastings, where his daughter, Airs Charles Palmer, resides, but he coin'd give no account of what had happened to him. It was suggested by bystanders that he bad fallen ironi a tram. His condition is serious.
