An inquest 'into the death oi Lieutenant Haakon Qviller, who was killed through the failure of his parachute to open on Saturday, was held this morn, ing. Captain AVhite, of Airways, Ltd., gave evidence that Qviller-had tested the parachute before the iliglit. He seemed satisfied and appeared to have exercised every care in folding it. Before leaving th e ’plane, Qviller said, “I think everything is all right.’ 7 Fie got away very cleanly. Before leaving the ground Qviller said that he intended to make a delayed drop, falling about 000 feet before opening the parachute. Witness saw nobody interfering with the parachute, though many curious people were about wlien it was being folded. After the accident, witness found one strand of the cord looped around the parachute which would prevent it from opening. In conversation before the descent Qviller gave no indication of any intention: to:commit suicide. !
