The golden dome of the famous Shwe Dagon Pagoda at Rangoon which was destroyed in last year’s earthquake has been replaced. The dome which i,- studded with diamonds and other precious stones costing over six thousand sterling, was hoisted into position jn the presence of thousands of devout pilgrims Burmawide.
