All members of the team are fit and well and eager to commence practice. Crumb has recovered from his operation. The team were met at Southampton by Mr Swan, the Cricket Council re presentntive, Mr Harold Gillignn and other cricketers. They motored to London where they were met by Sir Fvvnaston Studd, President of the C.C., \V. Findlay, secretay, D. G. Leve son Gower, 'Jo-morrow the team will be the guests of the British Sportsmens’ Club at a luncheon at the Savoy Hotel. They practice at Lords in the afternoon. Chapman, and Harold Gillignn are playing for the Maori Cricket Club practice match on Monday. CAPTAIN INTERVIEWED. LONDON, April 30. Tlie New Zealand cricketers motored from Southampton and are staying at the Great Central Hotel, Marvlebone. Lowry (captain), interviewed, said the team was absolutely fit and anxious to practice, after the long voyage. He anticipated a successful tour.
