(Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, April. 20. The State bye-election for Annandale was held on Anzac Day. The former member was elected, the voting being: Stuart Robinson (Labour) 8395 Miss Simpson (Independent) 3130 Mr Wetheringhain (Independent) 413 Mr Morrison (Communist) 405 Informal 912 There was much resentment that the election was fixed for Anzac Day, and as voting was compulsory, many electors apparently expressed th*fr feelnigs by nullifying tbeir ballots.
