ISSUED AT WELLINGTON". (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 27. Seven counterfeit notes similar to those issued by the Bank of New South Wales were changed by shopkeepers in the City on Saturday evening. The matter was reported to the police when it. was found they were all alike bearing number .E 931885.

It is imdersood that a number of similar notes were issued at Auckland and Hamilton on Friday.
