RADIO PROGRAMME

Mr George Martinengo, a snigcr and ’cellist of note, who, it will he remembered, toured New Zealand some years ago will be heard from IYA this evening, in bariton ( . songs and a ’cello solo. Another vocalist on the programme will be Mrs B. Jellard (contralto). Items will be given by Mr Robert McKnight (English concertina artist) and Ban v Inga IPs Hawniians. The two Macs, who are a now combination, will give twenty minutes of Scottish humour and songs, while Mr Eric Bell will play a group of light popular derision 1 numbers. Featured on 2YA’s programme will be the well known baritone, Mr Rex. Harrison. Mr Lad Haywood and Mr Billy Hart will l>o heard in a budget of up-to-date popular numbers. Miss Ella Fair (mezzo-soprano) will sing and Mr J. MoKeon will give humorous items. The Orchestrina, under Signor A. P. Truda will present a popular programme. The programme of the third and final night of the Dunedin Radio Exhibition will bo broadcast by 3YA and 4YA. Once again, leading Dunedin talent will contribute. A male voice quartet known an The Idlers will be featured. There wall also be volos by Miss Mary Pratt (contralto), Messrs Taylor (tenor) and S. G. A»goll (bass). On the instrumental side of the programme will be the 4YA Exhibition Orchestra and a saxophone band. To-morrow Anzae Day, all stations will broadcast thy various commemorative services. SATURDAY, APRIL 25th. All the YA Stations are broadcasting the various A nz.ao Day commemoru' ion services, and this evening there will be studio concerts suitable to the occasion.
