BIC EFFORT BY MODERATES. (Australian Press Association.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 24. Efforts are being made in Sydney to bring about unity of action among the various political parties opposed to .the extremists forces in the community. > A similar effort made last, week to co-ordinate the anti-extremist parties in Federal politics. Consider-, able progress, has been made. The National party is willing to extend the utmost co-operation to All for Australia League, and the Country party is prepared to enter into an agreement provided its separate entity is respected, and that it lias a lair representation in any composite Ministry if one is formed.

The basic policy on which all parties arc agreed are.—

Economy of administrations advised by the conference of Premiers in Melbourne.

Uncompromising opposition to inflation and any form of repudiation. All parties are unanimous that a (restoration of industry can be achieved in no other way than by the adoption of this jiolic.w A conference is being held at Sydney attended by representatives of the Federal, and State National parties, Country Party, All for Australia League National Union and Victorian National Party.

Tim aim of the conference is to ensure at next elections that there shall he a united front to the cxtieinist forces, which the parties believed will endeavour, apart from direct repudiation, to bring about inflation of ctirirency with all its attendant iuisci\.
