The autumn meeting of the South Canterbury Jockey Club was held today in fine weather, with a good attendance. The totalisator took £11,187 compared with £7,900 on the corresponding day of last year. Additional results:—
Otipua Trot.—4 Lord Antrim 1,2 Bracken 2, 3 Royal Parade 3. Great Antrim was bracketed with the winner. Won b.v half a length; one length. Times 3.30 3-5, 3.30 4-5, 3.31 1-5. Teschmaker Handicap.—2 Compris 1, 5 Night Effort 2, 1 inevitable 8. Won by a head; half a length. Time 2.5 1-5. Eosewill Handicap.—l Royal Love 1,2 Punchestown 2, 6 Felony 8. Won h.v a head; three lengths. Time, 2.7 1-5. Gladstone Trot.—9 Matchmaker 1, 6 Proto Bingen 2, 1 Compromise 3. Won by a neck; half a length. Times, 2.51 2-5, 2.51 3-5, 2.51 4-5. Smithfield Hack—6 Tripping 1, 8 Ilkley 2. 9 Red Royal 3. Won by heads each way. Time 1.12 3-5.
Doncaster Handicap—l Master Anomaly 1,2 Rin Tin Tin 2, 3 First Raid 3. Won b.v a length; three lengths. Time 1.12 3-5.
