The adjourned annual meeting of the Excelsior Football Club will be held to-morrow (Thursday) evening in Keller’s Rooms at 7.30 sharp.—Advt. “Earthquake prediction is absolute rubbish; moonshine is the most com plimentavy word one can apply to it, was a remark made by Dr P. Marshall Government Penologist, when addressing members of the Wellington Rotary Club on the subject of earthquakes.
